The Çağ University VR Lab team actively participated in the 3rd UNITAR International Research Conference (3UIRC), which was held on 3–4 December 2025 at the UN House Brussels in collaboration with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR).

During the conference, our team presented Virtual Reality (VR) and Metaverse-focused projects and delivered interactive presentations demonstrating how immersive digital technologies can be integrated into education, climate awareness, and cultural heritage in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Participants experienced hands-on VR demonstrations, engaging directly with our immersive environments. Through our presentations, we highlighted the transformative role of VR and Metaverse technologies in sustainable development, peacebuilding, and global collaboration. The event provided a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas with academics, researchers, and policymakers, fostering new pathways for international and interdisciplinary cooperation.

As a co-organizer of this prestigious international conference, Çağ University played a significant role in strengthening academic dialogue. For the VR Lab team, being part of this global platform was a great honor and an important step in increasing our university’s international visibility while contributing to more inclusive, sustainable, and innovative futures.
