Beyond Vision: Sustainable Futures in Action (SFAIS 2024) Conference Successfully Held
The conference titled “Beyond Vision: Sustainable Futures in Action” took place on September 26–27, 2024, in Mersin, Türkiye, organized in collaboration with UNITAR, TEMSA, TU Dublin, VWEC, Sofia Technical University, Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Water Diplomacy, and Hochschule Kehl University of Applied Sciences. This interdisciplinary event brought together academics, experts, and doctoral candidates working in the field of sustainability.
The conference provided a dynamic platform for participants to engage in thought-provoking discussions on emerging trends, pressing challenges, and innovative solutions in sustainability. The program featured 23 paper presentations, two workshops, three panels, and five keynote speakers, totaling 40 speeches. Approximately 150 participants from various universities across Türkiye and abroad attended, fostering a vibrant environment for networking and intellectual exchange.

As reflected in the program, the conference covered a broad range of sustainability topics, from environmental policy and sustainable technologies to the social and economic dimensions of sustainable development. Discussions emphasized the interconnectedness of global challenges and the importance of collaborative action.
