Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Gülmez, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and Head of the International Relations Office at Çağ University, first encountered the virtual world Second Life® in 2009 through an article published in a Human Resources supplement. This encounter opened the door to his work on inclusive technologies within the fields of education, technology, and international collaboration.

After thoroughly exploring Second Life® as a learning environment, he began integrating these virtual world applications into his course content. Focusing academically on marketing, Dr. Gülmez continues his work with ongoing projects and courses related particularly to the use of the metaverse, virtual reality, and simulation technologies in education.
